Arash Aazami, Entrepreneur

Creativity in the Boardroom

We have known Arash Aazami since 2018. At that time, we organized a strategic session with tango dancer and organization consultant Peter Rombouts. Peter uses dance to provide new insights into complex matters when only thinking is not enough. Many of today’s issues at an individual, team, organizational and social level require our complete potential of thinking, feeling, perceiving, and knowing. This session convinced Arash even more that his service to the future of energy would be better fulfilled in the role of entrepreneur instead of being a counselor.

Arash embodies a unique combination of arts and technology, science and entrepreneurship. He designs for an Internet of Energy to connect every human being to abundant renewable resources. We asked him why creativity matters in the boardroom. He started with a statement: “Creativity, like energy and oxygen, is a basic need in life. It makes us human. We are physical beings with the unique ability to translate the abstract into the concrete. If there is one thing we need to do together, it’s the shift from words to action.” Arash is all about figuring out new models to make the old obsolete and to create solutions based on values, abundance, which requires boardroom creativity.

How do you feel creativity could add value in your boardroom? Which people do you need to add to the team to inspire unusual solutions?
