Both trained as designers and active in board-level roles, we bring an unusual combination of strategic imagination, future-back thinking, and boardroom experience into conversations about future direction and leadership capability.
Team
Caracta is a partnership between Fennemiek Gommer and Anne Mieke Eggenkamp.
Fennemiek’s work focuses on future direction: helping boards and leadership teams explore where new opportunities, future directions, and forms of growth may need to emerge alongside the current business.
Anne Mieke’s work focuses on leadership capability: how leadership teams create the perspectives, capacity, and ways of working needed to balance operational excellence with exploration and innovation.
Together, they bring future direction and leadership capability into one shared conversation, helping leadership teams recognize which new directions deserve to be explored more deliberately, and what this asks of leadership and ways of working.
Their thinking is also reflected in the book Boardroom Creativity, in which they explore how boards strengthen judgment, imagination, and decision-making in complex environments.
The future of organizations depends not only on strategy or foresight, but on the character and judgement of those responsible for decisions that affect others.
